Branding & Design
Branding for Vintage King
While at Vintage King I was responsible for the branding across all platforms. This included digital assets for online campaigns, live events and, in-store giveaways and publications.
Packaging for Vintage King
Vintage King’s audio cables are hand made in Metro Detroit. Inspiration was pulled from vintage tape boxes which are often times written on with song names and notes from the engineer. To incorporate this touch, we used a rubber stamp for the various size of each cable and, a label is affixed denoting the type of connection. Since the cables are already built and packaged by hand, this touch lent itself to the overall branding of the packaging and brand.
Digital Media for Vintage King
Vintage King is mostly an eCommerce website with boutique storefronts in Los Angeles and Nashville. Most of their sales come from online purchase. While at Vintage King I redesigned the website, starting with a new grid for how each page would be laid out. From there, user interaction with product and item pages were designed and, the overall road maps for how a user would experience the site were built.
Neumann Microphone Comparison Page for Vintage King
The audience for vintage microphones want to hear the smallest differences between models. We created an interactive page for the audience to truly compare different vocal ranges through vintage and reissue models of Neumann microphones. I worked closely with the internal web developer to be sure these audio files could load seamlessly and could be played, paused and played again at that same spot so the user could truly compare different syllables from each recording. See the page here!
